Silica Physics can produce spools of bulk fiber, connectorized patch cables/jumpers and robust surgical fibers. In-situ fiber tension monitoring allows us to optimize the draw process for different fiber diameters. Our core competency allows us to make custom fibers that we can manipulate the end geometries using CO2 lasers. This capability has given us the ability to produce some of the world’s most robust surgical fibers in existence.

Our team is capable of fast-tracking new products from proof of concept to market. State of the art fiber testing for attenuation, prooftesting and tensile strength. Active bend test data available upon request.
